Homemade Pre-Poo w/ a Kick

5 months ago I talked about re-trying a homemade hair growth stimulating treatment that I’d found on Pinterest the year before. I had every intention of keeping everyone updated on how that was working for me, BUT my timing was off. My summer of braided protective styles came up on me sooner than expected and instead of testing out the cayenne pepper treatment more than once  I spent 2 months and some change with crochet box braids. Now that the seasons are slowly shifting  I’m ready to add this treatment to my regimen again. The original recipe for this spicy hair treatment can be found by clicking HERE. I still haven’t tried it out with alcohol in place of the olive oil but I did decide to combine it with one of my favorite home made pre-poo mayo treatment. Both recipies call for olive oil so I just figured why not combine them. After applying the combined mixture to my hair, I was excited that I still expierenced the slight heating sensation normally felt when I only use the cayenne mixture. I took that to mean that I was cooking with gas. 30 minutes is really all you need to let it sit before washing but if you are like me and happen to have a free Saturday to relax and pamper yourself  1.5 to 2 hours will do. Check out the video below to see how I made, mixed, and then applied the pre-poo. You can also find the written recipebelow the video.

As always subscribe and keep the questions and feed back coming.Let me know if you try your own mayo treatments. I’d love to try different variations.

4 large spoon fulls of Mayo

2 eggs

2 tbs Olive oil

A little cayenne pepper (optional)

Mix the mayo, eggs and olive oil together in a bowl using a wisk or an immersion blender to mix it all together until smooth. If you are going to add the pepper shake just a little and use a spatula or spoon to mix well.
