After a long week of flying from city to city a long soak in the tub, a glass of wine and a good book is a MUST.
I am currently sitting on the side of my tub letting the water cool to a temperature hot enough yet still comfortable enough for me to soak this week’s aches and pains away. While my bath was running I added approximately 15 drops of lavender and peppermint oils each. Both oils are perfect for your natural hair health as well as your mental and physical health too. I keep pausing to gaze at the flickering lights of my lavender scented candles while Apple Music plays the latest from my favorite SC artists TracyXGeno “Bad Girl” in the background. This is the evening I have been waiting for! The fact that I have been up every day this week at 4 am doesn’t matter right now because I am FINALLY about to soak in my tub. Something I have been dreaming about since my second leg Monday morning. Besides being a natural hair enthusiast I am a firm believer in taking time out to relax, meditate and exist in the moment.
